Handcrafted Walking Sticks

My name is Cliff and I live on the lovely North Norfolk Coast. Since I was forced to retire through ill-health, I have taken my exercise by walking around the marshes and common land that edge my village.

During my wanderings, I noticed sticks growing in the hedgerows which had grown naturally into shapes suitable for walking sticks. I cut one and after allowing it to season, I fashioned my first walking stick.

After this, my interest in the art of stick-making grew and I now make sticks of all shapes and styles. Where possible, I use locally gathered wood for the shank, but the handles are all individual and made from horn, antler or wood, some have decorative inlays and collars.

Please have a look in my GALLERY to see some of the sticks I have made, the stock changes regularly. The sticks can be shortened if necessary, and can be fitted with a metal or rubber ferrule. If you would like to purchase a walking stick, please CONTACT ME and I will discuss payment details and postage costs.
